Maintenance Worker (Casual):

We are looking for an experienced carpentry, plumber, or electrician (or someone with a broad range of these skills) to join our team in a casual role to support the ongoing maintenance of the six residential buildings and two offices as LSCSS. You will working closely with the existing maintenance personnel and the housing coordinators in ensuring general and preventative maintenance tasks are completed in a safe and timely fashion.

Community Driver (Part-time):

LSCSS is seeking a responsible and compassionate driver to transport seniors to essential and social activities in the community. The driver will be provided an LSCSS vehicle with scheduled routes. You must have a minimum class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract.

Assisted Living Worker (Casual):

The Assisted Living Worker delivers exemplary personal care services that enhance life quality and peace of mind for seniors living within the assisted living residence. Under the direction of the Assisted Living Coordinator or Leader, delivers personal care and housekeeping, laundry, dining, social/recreation programs as driven by the needs, interests, choices and abilities of assisted living residents. Acts as a member of the program team, and helps to support the independence of assisted living residents.

Multi-Service Worker (Casual):

The MSW delivers exemplary hospitality services that enrich the life quality of seniors living within the community. Under the direction of the Housing and/or Better at Home Coordinator, you will deliver housekeeping, laundry and food services supports as assigned.

LSCSS is seeking a reliable and experienced Casual Cook to provide vacation and sick day coverage for our permanent team members. This flexible, on-call role offers the opportunity to contribute to a supportive housing environment by preparing and serving nutritious meals for tenants. The Casual Cook ensures quality food service while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.

Better at Home Multi-Service Worker (Casual):

As part of the Better at Home program the MSW will work the the Volunteer & Senior Services Coordinator to deliver housekeeping, laundry, and yard work support directly to program participants in their homes. Your role is critical to helping enrich the quality of life of seniors in the community. 

There is an immediate opening for a position with an average of 8 hours per week.
