LSCSS Program

Keremeos Better at Home

The Better at Home Program helps seniors in Keremeos, Cawston, Olalla, and Hedley live independently in their own homes. The program is designed to assist seniors with light housekeeping duties providing them the flexibility to stay in their own home longer. Multi-Services workers are matched up with clients to come on a regular schedule to provide help with tasks that are outside the scope of your abilities.

Better at Home fees are partially subsidized by the BC Ministry of Health and United Way of the Lower Mainland depending on income level. The fee for Better at Home services is calculated on a sliding-scale, based on your income tax assessment, from zero to $30 per hour, making this option approachable for everyone. Clients can purchase more cleaning time based on full cost at $30.00 per hour.

Better at Home Volunteers Needed
