HOUSING AVAILABILITY – We rarely have vacancies and do not provide emergency housing; however, we encourage you to apply and to keep your information up to date. This maintains your place on the waitlist so that our team can contact you when a suitable unit becomes available.
Housing in the Lower Similkameen
The Lower Similkameen Community Services Society (LSCSS) is proud to partner with BC Housing to offer a range of safe, affordable homes in the Keremeos area. Our buildings include a mix of subsidized and affordable rental units, ensuring that people with different income levels can find housing that meets their needs. Even if you do not qualify for a BC Housing subsidy, you may still be eligible for one of our affordable housing options.
We are deeply rooted in this region, and we prioritize applicants who live, work, or have strong connections to the Lower Similkameen.
If you are from the area and exploring housing options, we warmly encourage you to reach out and let us know you’re interested.
Please note that we do not contact every applicant immediately. We reach out only when a suitable unit becomes available, starting with eligible applicants who meet the criteria for that particular unit. However, you are always welcome to contact us if you want to confirm your continued interest, check on your application, or ask questions.
We’re Here to Help
We want everyone in our community to feel comfortable and supported during the housing application process. If you have questions, prefer to complete the form with assistance, or would like support due to technology, accessibility needs, or unique personal circumstances, our team is available to help.
You’re welcome to reach out at any time. Whether you want clarification, a walkthrough of the steps, or simply want to make sure you’re on the right track, we are here to make the process accessible and manageable — in the way that works best for you.
