Transportation Needs Assessment RFP

Lower Similkameen Community Services Society (LSCSS) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants or firms to conduct a comprehensive Transportation Needs Assessment. This study will evaluate the current and future transportation needs of Keremeos and its surrounding areas, including connections to nearby urban centers such as Penticton, Kelowna, and other regional hubs. The assessment will help inform strategies to improve local mobility, accessibility, and connectivity, fostering economic growth and community well-being.

Child & Youth Mental Health Clinician:

Located in Princeton

The CYMH Clinician will work collaboratively with MCFD and the school district to provide therapeutic supports and design treatment plans for children, youth, and their families.

This 0.8 permanent, part-time position is for 28 hours per week and is based in Princeton, BC.

Cook (PPT):

The Cook position will work rotating days at both Kyalami Place and Mountain View Manor in ensuring tenants receive nutritious meals as outlined in the dietary parameters. Cooks will be responsible for ensuring food safety standards are observed and maintaining a clean. organized, shared kitchen environment.

This permanent, part-time position is for 4-days on, 2-days off rotation, averaging 36 hours per week.

Cook (Casual):

The Cook will prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals in accordance with the meal planning guidelines set out by BC Housing. Under the direction of the Housing Coordinator you will manage inventory and food costs and provides direction to food service workers, clients, and/or volunteers.

Better at Home Multi-Service Worker (Casual):

As part of the Better at Home program the MSW will work the the Volunteer & Senior Services Coordinator to deliver housekeeping, laundry, and yard work support directly to program participants in their homes. Your role is critical to helping enrich the quality of life of seniors in the community. 

There is an immediate opening for a position with an average of 8 hours per week.

Assisted Living Worker (Casual):

The Assisted Living Worker delivers exemplary personal care services that enhance life quality and peace of mind for seniors living within the assisted living residence. Under the direction of the Assisted Living Coordinator or Leader, delivers personal care and housekeeping, laundry, dining, social/recreation programs as driven by the needs, interests, choices and abilities of assisted living residents. Acts as a member of the program team, and helps to support the independence of assisted living residents.
