LSCSS Program

Neighbour to Neighbour

Neighbour-to-Neighbour is a grassroots fund empowers us to extend our reach beyond funded programs, providing essential services when they’re needed most.

Every day, people come to us in times of need, and we are honored to be a trusted source of support during difficult moments. We understand how hard it can be to ask for help, and we strive to say “yes” whenever possible.

This program provides essential support and opportunities for individuals and families in the South Similkameen. Made possible through generous donations, it funds a variety of critical yet unfunded services.

Community Support & Well-Being

  • Subsidized Recreation Centre passes for individuals and families
  • Christmas Market, where families can select free gifts for loved ones
  • Men’s counselling services
  • Supplies for warming and cooling centres
  • Other essential, unfunded needs identified by our team and community

  • Low-income families
  • Children with disabilities
  • Children in foster care

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of the community that led to the successful completion of Ambrosia and our new office space. In 2025, we are excited to relaunch the “Help Us Grow” campaign as we embark on the next stage—building Ambrosia Phase II.
